Why does require my location?

Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. The raffle is offered throughout the state of North Carolina.

I entered the incorrect email and did not print my raffle tickets. How can I get my tickets?

Please go to the Contact page to contact the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation to request your tickets.

What happens if I lose my ticket(s)?

The winning ticket must accompany the claim documentation.

I can’t purchase a ticket from my current location, what can I do?

Please check to make sure your location services are enabled on your device. Also check that the automatic settings for your date and time are turned on.

What does it do if I check the box to save my information for future purposes?

The information will only save if you are used the same browser as your previous purchase and that you have not cleared your cache of cookie settings.

What happens if I did not receive my email with the ticket numbers?

Please check your spam, junk mail or clutter folders for the email. If you cannot find it, please contact us using the contact us tab on and provide your name, phone number and amount of tickets purchased.

How much do raffle tickets cost?
50/50 Raffle tickets can be purchased at a variety of price points. 

  • 2 tickets for $5 
  • 5 tickets for $10 
  • 20 tickets for $20 
  • 80 tickets for $40 

What forms of payment do you accept? 
Credit cards are the only acceptable form of payment online.

How do I find out the winning raffle ticket number?
The winning raffle ticket number will be posted online under the winners tab and at and on Twitter @CanesGiveBack

Where does the other half of the cash jackpot go? 
50 percent of the cash jackpot goes to the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. For more information about the Foundation, please click here.

Do I need to be present to win? 
No, winners do not have to be present to win. However, winning raffle tickets must be provided to claim both cash and non-cash prizes. 

Are my winnings taxed? 
The Carolina Hurricanes Foundation is responsible for reporting winnings to the IRS, and the winners are responsible for any tax implications. 

If I have the winning ticket, how do I claim the prize?

How long does it take to get my prize (cash or non-cash)? 
Non-cash prizes can be redeemed within one (1) day of presenting the winning raffle ticket. Cash prizes will be provided to the winner via check within forty-five (45) business days of presenting the winning raffle ticket and filling out the winner release form, including providing two forms of identification.

Is there a limit on the number of raffle tickets I can purchase? 
No, there is no limit to the amount of raffle tickets you can purchase during any raffle period.
